I introduce Ronda city
standing on a cliff in intermountain district of Andalusia today.
It was fine also on
this day and I enjoyed town walk in the mood of heaven.
今日は、アンダルシアの山地に聳える街ロンダを紹介します。
この日も天気が良くて、最高の気分で街歩きを楽しみました。

This bridge steps over
100 m of the cliff, and connects the old city and the new town.
この橋は１００ｍもある断崖を跨いで旧市街と新市街をつないでいる。

The building on the
left-hand side of the bridge is Parador de Ronda, and we had lunch here.
As I would expect, the
meal of this parador were elegant and delicious.
橋の左側の建物はパラドール・デ・ロンダ（国営ホテル）で、ここで昼食を頂いた。
さすがパラドール、食事は上品で美味しかった。

The right side of the
canyon is old city, and the remnant of Islam is seen.
The highest tower on the
right cliff is La Casa del Rey Moro, and there is a spiral tunnel for drawing
water that continues to the bottom of a valley here.
峡谷の右側が旧市街で、イスラムの名残が見られる。
右断崖上の高い塔はLa Casa del Rey
Moroで、谷底まで続く水汲み用の螺旋坑道がある。

We bought a souvenir in
this street and old city.
この通りと旧市街で土産物を買った。

this day, but was refreshing.
It was short time, but I
enjoyed Andalusia.

短い時間だが、アンダルシアを満喫した気分になった。
About Ronda
In ancient times, a
castle was built at the Roman era, and Christian army and Muslim army repeated
a raging battle after that here.
By using of a rough
landscape of nature, this town played a role as the military affairs base.
Although the history of
bullfighting was old, the present-day bullfighting style was born in here.
On the next time, I
introduce Alhambra of great Islamic beauty.
ロンダについて
古くは、ローマ時代に城が造られ、その後、キリスト教徒軍とイスラム教徒軍が激しい戦闘を繰り返した。
自然の要害を生かし、軍事拠点の役割を果たした。
闘牛の歴史は古いが、現代の闘牛様式はこの地で生まれた。
次回は、イスラムの美を誇るアルハンブラ宮殿を紹介します。
